Michelle has been teaching Pilates in Sarasota, Florida since she moved here in 2006, and has trained with many renowned instructors for well over a decade. She received her training and certification in NYC from Power Pilates, the leading educator of classical Pilates worldwide, where she apprenticed under Bob Liekens and Susan Moran.
She is certified by the Pilates Method Alliance and is a firm believer in continuing education. She regularly attends workshops and sessions around the country with the industry’s most highly respected first and second generation master instructors.
Originally from Maine, Michelle spent most of her life in and around New York City, where she freelanced as a scenic artist, muralist and set designer for theater. She studied at SUNY Purchase, the National Theater Institute, and holds her Fine Arts degree from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
